I was born in South Korea and adopted to Norway at the age of four. I grew up in a creative and nurturing home where spirituality was naturally woven into everyday life. My father was a well-known actor, my mother a singer and actress before she turned her path toward alternative medicine and ayurveda. From her, I learned meditation as a child and called myself a Buddhist from an early age. Ever since, I’ve devoted much of my life to studying Vajrayana Buddhism and exploring how we can transform blockages, emotions, and trauma into freedom.
This path of practice and transformation has shaped everything I do. I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces where people can connect, heal, and grow. That calling led me to found The Shala, a community and education platform dedicated to yoga, meditation, and spiritual development. Over the years, I’ve created and led programs that integrate ancient wisdom with modern teaching—ranging from yoga teacher trainings (like YTT200 Hatha & Yin), to Mindful Tantra Meditation, and now the Sacred Circle Facilitator Training.
The Sacred Circle Facilitator Training™ is a foundation of this work. It’s where many of my own practices, teachings, and experiences come together into a program that empowers others to step into their role as facilitators and guides.
